Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Checkout Rules Shopify app (the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Checkout Rules lets merchants configure and enforce order rules — including minimum and maximum order values, quantity requirements, case-pack multiples, blocked shipping countries, business-email requirements, and blackout days — on their Shopify store's checkout. You are responsible for configuring rules that comply with applicable law and your own business obligations to your customers.

Accounts & installation

You must be an authorized administrator of the Shopify store on which you install the Service. You are responsible for the rules you configure and for how they affect your customers' checkout experience.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Shopify's own billing system, as part of your Shopify subscription. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to configure rules intended to discriminate unlawfully against customers, to violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or Partner Program Agreement, or to interfere with the operation of the Service. We may suspend access for accounts that do.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the Service; material changes will be communicated. You may uninstall the Service at any time; we may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.
